I always remember Nanny winning lots of prizes and certificates at the Freethorpe Flower Show. Her baking would win lots of firsts.

Corrine kindly put together a list of the dates that Nanny brought home the Domestic Challenge Cup and it's very impressive!

First winning the cup in 1979, Nanny went on to win it in 1981-87, 1989-92, 1995-96, 1998 and 2006-2016. I make that 26 years!

I love thinking about this because it reminds me of Nanny's baking and her competitive streak - and that she'd tell us every year she wasn't going to enter anything into the show - then we'd see all her awards!
